'ello from the north

Hello, since I have a feeling I'll be posting here a bit after lurking for the past few weeks I'd do a quick intro.

More or less just started to get a bit serious about woodworking and am pretty much a noob. Only have what I learned from watching my dad do woodworking decades ago.

So far have built two arcade cabinets and an outdoor deck table...and still have all my fingers so I guess that's a step in the right direction.

Now if I could just stop buying new tools all the time.........

Welcome Aboard

No such thing as silly questions, however, you may get some silly answers from time to time.

Any you folks know of the cause of divots in mfg african hardwood flooring. My bldr trying to convince me it's normal but it is not in the flooring in the model. Which is also african ebony hardwood. Looks like a bunch of golf spike marks in 1/4 of the pieces. No pattern to it just ugly demi deep rough tiny holes in the pieces.
