Doing it like a hippie

My name is Joshua and I'm Collinsville, Oklahoma. My family has a long tradition in the woodworking business here in Oklahoma. They have owned lumber yards, moulding shops, stair parts shops, and have been trim carpenters and home builders. Well, I didn't want anything to do with it. I wanted to make my own path. I've enjoyed doing things on my terms. But, I find myself now with more interest in woodworking than I have ever had in my life. I do everything I can to build stuff with all hand tools. No cords is how I like to do things. I get an amazing feeling after completing a project that was all done by hand tools. It's an indescribable feeling. My favorite things to build are camping stove wind guards and pie safes of various sizes. This site is an awesome tool to learn from. Look forward to learning from you all!
