Smile From classic auto restoration to woodworking...

Hi all! I am new to the forum, and fairly new to woodworking. I have grown up on construction sites, so I have an innate love for creating wonderful things out of wood. I have spent the last 10 years of my life involved in classic auto restoration; specializing in body work. I thought I could apply my auto body skills (sanding, priming, "sculpting," etc..) to make some amazing furniture for my future home. I have lots of great ideas for projects, but am in desperate need of help and guidance. I just posted a thread in the general discussion forum about a piece of oak I would like to use. Please take a look and give me some suggestions! Can't wait to become a part of the woodworking world!
