Cool Canadian on board!

I'm sure I'm not the only one. I have been doing real woodworking (as opposed to construction and household repairs) for about five years. I'm getting better. I am a recently retired Canadian federal civil servant, and have four adult children, two dogs, two granddogs, and a wife.

Welcome aboard. Another Canadian here.

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"

That's "eh" to you, eh? See I said I wouldn't be the only Canadian here. Nmac, I love PEI and want to go back there with my bicycle. There don't seem to be any significant hills. When I last visitied, my son was about 11 years old. We told him that many of our potatoes come from PEI. We had him trying to spot a potato tree for a week.

Kenbo, both my daughters, and the Blue Jays live in Toronto, so I'm there quite a lot.

Canadian on board!

Hi,
Any particular type of board, or just what was lying round at the time?

Welcome!

I'm back in spite of popular demand.
Had some health issues and other stuff that creeps into our lives.
But I'm looking in here and seeing some familiar faces....good.
Since I was here last I purchased a delta 460-60 and set it up in a designated turning corner of my shop.
I'm looking forward to getting more advice and seeing the great projects that you guys always amaze me with.
I'm turning small bowls, vases, wine stoppers and anything else that inspires me.
Heck it's Christmas and I gotta make ornaments and gifts.
So Happy turning and Happy Holidays to all you out there.
Sincerely
Tom
