I'm not good at determining some wood types - Ash, Butternut maybe? I don't know.

Not an expert on wood ID even though I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. I vote for ash. I do like the bold grain.



Funny story about plant ID- My cousin was in boy scouts many years ago. The troop was on a hike or camping trip. One kid asked about a plant growing along the trail. The scoutmaster replied, "Oh, that? That's a huggaroot."
