Another new guy from Maryland

Hi Folks!

Good evening everyone! Another newbie from Maryland here. I discovered this forum a few weeks ago and decided to take the plunge by joining and attempting to offer something constructive here and there.

I am a basement dweller for the most part. I've taken over about 1/3 of our basement for my shop and am slowly outfitting it. Right now, it is quite colorful -- Freud red, Delta gray and blue, DeWalt yellow, Craftsman black and red, Ryobi blue and yellow, Rigid orange and a whole host of other flotsam and jetsam. I am just about to assemble my router table and I'm thinking of painting it British Racing Green just to complete the color spectrum.

I liken my shop to the deck of an aircraft carrier -- everything is mobile, tightly packed and it's quite a dance to get anything launched. Oh well, I'll someday have room to move.

Cheers everyone!

Greg

If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Welcome from the eastern shore Greg! I get about a 6 ft square section of our garage to work in so once I start buying more tools I'll have to make sure they are all mobile as well.

Welcome to the forum. I think that at least half, if not more, of the people on this probably have a "Small shop" that they have to work in. After all, It is a hobby, right? Anyway, I hope you enjoy this forum as much as I do.... I have been addicted ever since I joined.

Welcome to the forum. Always nice to have a well balanced color pallet in the shop.

WELCOME TO THE FORUM

Good to see you over here. It's a busy place...you'll like it. The closest I've been to Montgomery Village was College Park. No wait...I went out with a girl from Rockville.
