Aloha from Maui

Aloha Everyone,

What a wonderful discovery finding WOODWORKINGTALK.COM. I sincerely appreciate all the helpful advice and knowledge this community has to offer.

Here's my story, it all started out with wanting to build myself a custom spearfishing gun, did some research, purchased a few power/hand tools for the project. Five years later I end up setting up shop and designing/building custom furniture for a living. Woodworking is truly an art form, and has been very good to me in more ways than one. Who would've known.

Much Mahalos & kind regards

Levi

From the Midwest, welcome Levi!

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. James 3:17

Much Mahalos

I appreciate the welcome Mr. Mac & Cody. Look forward to reading up on some threads. Had the opportunity to check out the "Show your Shop" thread, very innovative with space and tool layouts.

Aloha John,

I live up country on Maui, which is roughly 7000 feet above sea level. Haleakala crater hovers at around 10,000. We do experience cold temperatures but nothing compared to the mainland. Went for a motorcycle ride this morning with my wife, I wore a short sleeve shirt & jeans, and some protective gear. Feels and looks like autumn in my neck of the woods. Hope you & your family have a wonderful new years.

Mahalos,

Levi

Howzit Gary,

California's not too bad either, I grew up in Carlsbad. Northern Cal is just breath taking, giant firs meet the ocean. So many outdoor activities to enjoy.

Aloha
