It all started with my wife's grandfather's tablesaw

Greetings Everyone,

I just started woodworking this past year. My wife received a Sears 8 inch table saw from her grandfather's estate.

Thanks to craigslist and garage sales, I have been able to add a planer, band saw, clamps, Kreg tool, and other woodworking items. I am looking for a router table for my Porter-Cable router.

My wife loves to recycle materials. She can see stuff that I cannot. An example is the clothes dryer rack she design.

The rack itself is from an old baby's gate. With the exception of the magnetic catches and cloth webbing, the remaining material is leftovers from other projects.

I will post some of the items I made in the Project Showcase section.

Thanks for all the tips and advice ya'll place on the forum.

Have a great day,
Glen

Nice design!

Why not build your own router table?

I still use my Grandfathers TS daily.

As expensive as they are you might consider building your own router table. Firemedic built a fantastic one with storage:

On the other end of the spectrum I made a small one:

There are lots of other examples on the forum and web to make it as easy or crazy as you want.

I found a router table on Craigslist

Thanks for suggestions and plans to build a router table. I download a few plans that I would like to build.

On Wednesday, a guy that adopted twins was selling some of his tools.

I got a 27x32 table and stand with wheels. Also came with a 36 inch Bench Dog Fence (AF400) for $125.

Could not pass on that.

Have a great day,
Glen
