Solution Needed for very Simple Problem

Can I print in 2d in sketchup? I want to print out several scaled circles to use as stencils (ex. I want to print out a 5" circle). Is this possible with sketchup? If not...any suggestions?

I do not know about sketchup, but you can very easily draw a 5" circle with a compass. (The drawing type of compass, not a magnetic compass.) If you need something larger than your compass can draw then a piece of string with a pin at one end and a pencil at the other also works fine.

If you want to do this on a computer, you can use a LOT of different vector drawing programs to create a 2D circle. Using a 3D modeling program for this is sort of like using a table saw for scroll work...

Interested in my woodworking, workshop and whatnot? See, want to see my other interests such as hunting, fishing, off roading, and camping? See

there are numerous 2D views in sketchup. Go to Camera >> standard views

You can never have too much pepperoni on your pizza or own too many clamps.
