Creating/importing Component

Hello all,
I'm working on a wall of cabs for my garage. I'd like to make each section individually in separate files, and then import them into one file at the end. Is there a way of doing this? or should I just create components and then hide them, or, I don't know? Suggestions/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
