WANTED Craftsman Lathe or MT #1 Acc.

I am using an old single tube craftsman lathe that has a 3/4 x 16 shaft and uses MT #1 centers. What I need is a 4 or 6 inch rest with a 7/8 shaft and/or a chuck, self centering or not, or anything else you may have laying around that will work with this lathe. Can purchase, or barter some wood for items. Let me know what you have, maybe we can work something out. PM me if you don't wanna post here.

Thanks for reading.

I was in the same boat. I ended up ordering the rests online from sears. Not at all expensive and a chuck from Penn state that came with a 3/4-16 to 8x1 converter.

Yea I've already been looking at going that route, actually I will probably make my own tool rests. Figured I would give this a shot first, maybe spark some memories of forgotten items collecting dust on a shelf and maybe make more than just myself happy.

Would love to have the tool rest, take the shafts too, who knows when I might need them. Shoot me a PM with what you come up with, we can work out the details there.
