Jet 16-42 lathe.

This lathe is 1.5 hp, and is variable speed with digital read out. It comes with a few homemade tool rest. The live center is a cup/cone combo. Asking $1,500 OBO. The lathe is located in Crossville TN. It works great, but I bought a Powermatic 3520. I can't turn on two lathes at once, and I need the extra cash. Private message me if interested or have any questions.

How does this compare to your powermatic. I have one of these for sale locally, but have no experience with one, What benefits does the powermatic have over the jet?

The Powermatic is conserdiblely heavier duty. The jet weighs 450 pounds and the powermatic is over 800 pounds. How much are you asking for yours? I couldn't find anything for sale to compare it to.

Sorry I meant to say there is one for sale locally, it's also $1500, though I think there was one for sale last year for 1400.

I'll throw in everything pictured in the first 3 pictures at no extra charge, and the hollowing system for $100. Jet 16-42 lathe.-image-3221313121.jpg Jet 16-42 lathe.-image-1617022335.jpg Jet 16-42 lathe.-image-3585301659.jpg Jet 16-42 lathe.-image-4149336718.jpg
