Yet another where do you get wood thread - but for Phoenix

Hello,

Since I am new to all this, so, to the people in Phoenix, where do you get your hardwood? I live in the Ahwatukee area so I would prefer not to have to drive up north unless I really have to. However, I wouldn't mind taking a trip to Payson or Prescott.

Thanks - Bob

The yellow pages of your phone book are your friend. So is Craigslist.

I guess you may have looked for someone who had experience with a local vendor to answer your question?

I went to the outlet below a long time ago, for Walnut and Yellowheart. They were great, the prices were fair and the experience was good.

McEwen

I use the one in Tucson - it has a great variety of hardwoods and prices are very reasonable. They're also in phoenix:

Exactly. I just wanted to know where people go and what their experiences were. - Bob
