What are you looking for, lumber, tools or hardware? If it's hardware I buy from www.woodworkershardware.com They are located in Sauk Rapids, Mn but I normally receive an order in Texas within a week after placing and order.

Kindof a little of everything, I build some smaller stuff a lot of the time so maybe like smaller blanks of exotic wood as well as reasonably priced state of the art tools. As well ad hardware like euro hinges and such.

For unusual tools that I can't get at lumber companies, I use Garrett Wade Woodworking. They carry carving chisels and sharpening stones as well as finishing supplies and power tools.

For antique restoration hardware I use Van Dyke's Restorers and Renovator's.

I can't help you for online wood. I live close enough to Dallas I can get anything.

I don't know if they still do wholesale but Hardwood Heaven way back when they were over by the Department of Roads did both retail and wholesale. I myself have never been a huge fan but they are the only game in town. We used to have the Board Store in the trade center but they are no longer there so I don't know if they closed or moved. I myself use Big Red Sawmill. Yes it's only local wood but that is what also makes is cool. You can really say it was "made in Nebraska". There is Midwest Supply in Omaha. You probably know all this. We need to get a club together then we can do custom orders on wood and tools

Does Omaha have anything? If not Woodcraft in Lenexa may be your closest option for some of the things you mention. Sadly I've had to stick with mail order or online ordering where I'm at. Woodsmith in Des Moines may be closer yet then Lenexa for you, they'd have a lot of what you are lookiing for.

Hardwood Heaven is now at 645 N. 66th. Jet, Sawstop, and Festool. Good selection of wood and veneer but kind of $$.

Big Red at Palmyra is my go to place. Great selection of local wood and great prices $5.00 BF for #1 KD walnut is his high priced stuff.
