Woodsmith Back Issue DVD

Just finished perusing all 200 issues of Woodsmith on their back issue DVD It was very interesting to see how styles/tastes have changed over the years. Lots of great ideas, tips and projects, however there are a lot of recycled ideas over the years.

Now it's time to get in the shop and make some of these things.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

There were all kinds of little things, nothing that stood out, but lots of ideas. A taper sled for the planer. A bench seat hollowing jig for the router. Cool ideas for some cutting board sets. Lots of box projects. And so on.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

Purchased this DVD myself. Was really impressed with the layout and over all quality of the DVD.

Purchased the 2011 Fine Wordworking back issue DVD also. Never read many issues of this magazine. So I figured what the heck. Was not impressed with the picture quality in PDF layout. But it gives me something to read and some projects to try.

Wife and I want to purchase a house soon. She gave me the go ahead to build night stands and a headboard

My b-day is the 4th. One of the kids is getting me the DVD. I'm anxiously awaiting the DVD. It will fill in some of the gaps. I have copies of some of the early issues and most of the last 100. It will be an interesting "read".

Use the right tool for the job.
