Wood working infographics

Hi everyone,

I've just finished creating these infographics about the structural differences between hardwoods and softwoods.

I was hoping for some feedback as to whether or not they are useful or interesting.

If they are than awesome. I'll make some more, if they aren't then I can stop wasting my time

Thanks.

Gi

I don't think that you are wasting your time...or mine. This is the way I learn. Thanks!

Political Correctness:
A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rapidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Very nice start. The informative text is so small it's hard to read. Also, it would be helpful to include like information such as % of cell types - it's in the softwood but not the hardwood. If you really want to geek-out on info/data-graphics take a look at the work of Edward Tufte.

Feedback.

Hi guys,

Thank you so much for the feedback. I'm glad you found them useful and thank you for the compliments on the site, it is definitely a work in progress which is going to take some months to complete but I am enjoying it.

I totally understand the frustration at not having the percentages on the hardwood graphic as well, the reason I didn't do that is because I couldn't find conclusive research on it. It seems that there is much more variance dependant upon species in hardwoods. So for that reason I decided to leave the information off rather than give a wrong or false impression.

Once again I really appreciate the feedback so thank you :).
