Wood Threading Tap

A typical painters extension pole uses a 3/4 x 5 tpi thread. All I can find are 3/4 x 6 tpi taps. Does anyone know of a source for this size tap and why it is hard to find?
Thanks for the help,
Doug

The part number for the 3/4-5 ACME tap you're looking for is GARGP0750X05F.
