Since he's from my hometown, I always like Dio. He actually is in my senior yearbook as he came home for a street to be named for him in 1988-89. He son graduated a few years before me as well.

Somewhere there's an album called Dio at Dominos at my mom's house. It was recorded live at Domino's Restaurant back home in the early 60's. My parents and many high school teachers used to go there back in the day...

Heavy equip operator,
Merchant mariner for several years,
8 years USCG..BM2
Carpenter, woodworker, general handyman & fixit guy.
And of course connoisseur of good cheap beer!
Oh yes... and an extra class ham operator...CQ..CQ..
Here I am in a folding stick chair I made..

I made one of those chairs out of local red cedar. SUPER COMFY!! I've heard it called a Belize Chair or a Clam Chair. Either way, I'd like to make another one some day.

Yes that is a springpole lathe. We had gone to a craft fair at Lake Sunnapee, NH. It was awesome that they allowed us to use some of the old tools.
