Where to get hard to find router/shaper bits

I'm trying to match a raised door panel for a freind of mind (it was just built but the cabinet guy is MIA). I have never seen this profile before. It has a bevel then a double bead. I tried to draw it in Sketchup but I was not successsful which is evident from the lack of a picture. Has anyone seen something like this or know where I should look?

Is it actually on the raised panel or is it a molding?? If part of the panel, no idea. Custom cutters are made all the time for molding machines.

Do you have a piece of the wood with the profile on it? If so cut it square and trace it on a piece of graph paper. Use a grid of 1/4" so the size can be determined. Label the grid size for others to see.
Second choice: Wrap a wide 3" piece around the profile to be duplicated, Mix up a batch of BONDO auto filler and form it over the taped area. You might have to corral the edges so it doesn't flow out. That will set up and be the reverse of the cutter profile. Cut it off square and trace it on graph paper as above.
That will help determine what you need and you can send a copy to a cutter manufacture to see what they have that's close.
Good Luck, bill

The answer to your question will only be as detailed and specific as the question is detailed and specific. Good questions also include a sketch or a photo that illustrates your issue. (:< D)

Thanks Guys I might not have to worry about it since the cabinet man showed up after 3 month of not a word. But I like the idea's and sites. I Bookmarked them actually for future use. figures I finally had a chance to get over there to look at what he either forgot or mesed up and then he shows again.
