Wenge

My Son-In-law to be has been working on an inlay project for his Boss using ceramic tile and Wenge after routing and sanding he broke out in a red rash all over him swelling in the arms and hives, Anyone else out there has similar adverse reactions to Wenge.

Wenge has a low liklihood of affecting folks (doesn't do a thing to me) but as you can see from the link in the post above, it DOES affect some people and individual responses to ANY wood that causes such problems can be highly individual. What's important to find out (and I don't know the answer) is whether it is a sensitizer. If it is, that means that subsequent exposures can get worse and worse and can get REALLY dangerous.

You can never have too much pepperoni on your pizza or own too many clamps.
