Walnut Slab

1 Attachment(s)
Hi, All!

I have a round walnut slab approximately 36" in diameter. What I'd like to achieve, is an end table...flattened and oiled, with a bowtie key or two. That said, I'm looking for some advice on the flattening piece of the job.

How would you recommend I go about getting this thing very flat and smooth to then finish?

Thanks!

You need a router sled

It all depends on which tools do you have. You could use hand or electric plane.
