Walnut Buffet Build

Here is a slide show of the buffet I'm building which is taking a while. It's not quite done yet but getting close.

That's awesome, Bret! I love seeing your projects go together, the joinery is always terrific!

One of these days I'll have to invite myself out there and see those curved drawers come together first hand

Pretty amazing! The joinery is somewhere between inspiration and intimidation. Interesting bandsaw dovetail sled, I haven't seen that before.

Thanks all. The joinery started out somewhat complex and got easier as the project progressed. The joinery involved in making a two piece slab door is fairly simple. Although keeping it flat and not chipping out the grain is always a trick.

"Joinery got easier". IMO, only if they are rabbets or dadoes. Joinery can be the fun part. Nice build thread, and nice choice of material. Looking forward to seeing it finished.
