Update #2, incra fence.

I just ran 3 pcs each of maple, cherry and walnut thru the saw, ripping them to 1 1/2". Checked them with my in/outside caliper, and all were exactly the same width.

I think this new fence is gonna make my jobs lots easier and quicker.

My father was my inspiration for woodworking, wish he was still around for more advice. Luv ya Dad.

Your post reminds me. I have a Rigid table saw, decent as far as hobby saws go I suppose, but I'm not real impressed with the fence. Does anyone know if I can use a better aftermarket fence?

I am going to use something like this in the near future. http://vsctools.com/shop/product-cat...ble-saw-fence/

I love aluminum extrusion and with T slots build in, you can make an unlimited number of cool jigs for it.

Bastian; This is the fence I got for my TS. If you have a full size saw, you shouldn't have a big problem mounting this fence.

Thanks Yank. You cost me over $700! :) I just ordered the incra fence system. I'm betting I will love it. Of course I had to order a few extra goodies with it

It fits 90% of the saws made, according to their website. I got only their box jig, but I'll be getting the router table hardware too. I'm just not sure on the set up yet.
