Thank you for the help!

Just completed my latest set of projects, gifts for the groomsman and bridesmaids in my upcoming wedding, and I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the community at large. Mistakes were definitely made, and I was at several points definitely in over my head, but the amount of advice I was able to glean from this forum was invaluable. From questions about 2-parts and gift ideas to scrolling through old threads about joinery and finishes, this is a vastly understated resource for relative beginners like me. Thank you folks, I appreciate the help.

4 keepsake boxes with wooden hinges, an engraved box lid with walnut underlay, a book box, ring box, end grain chess board, a box made from wormy walnut filled with colored epoxy, a drawer box of solid Osage orange, and last but not least a drinko-plinko game for my future wife's college age brother.

"I was going for rustic" is just my way of saying I screwed the pooch on the finish...

I think that those beautiful handcrafted gifts will bring a lifetime of memories of a very special day to their recipients.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Your bride is very lucky indeed.
