If I would have known tattoos would help, I would have entered ;-)

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

C'mon Ben, don't leave us hanging. How's that baby cut?

I've got it all assembled and took some time to dial it in, I did a few test cuts and the thing is a beast - cuts beautifully, I'm extremely happy with it.

The bad news is that work had me on the road all week so shop time has been basically nil since last weekend, so I haven't had a lot of time to put the saw to work.

The good news is I'm picking up a truckload of maple tomorrow for the next big project (my 2 year old son is outgrowing his crib, time to build a bed) which should be a nice test of this saw, I kind of designed the bed specifically to try some things with this bandsaw - including a lot of re-sawing. And the next few weeks are looking good for shop time.

I'll start a build thread for that soon, and once I get some quality time with the saw I'll be putting together a detailed review video (which I've actually already started )

Sweet. You're helping me finalize my decision on which saw to upgrade to. Looking forward to the video.

I've had a couple good days in the shop and I'm loving the saw, here's a preview:

handles the curves no problem, that's 5/4 Maple stock. The stock 3/4" blade handles the long sweeping curves, I've got a couple narrower blades on the way for tighter turns.

Putting together a review as I go, still getting to know the saw but thus far it's all smiles on this end.

I decided to start a new thread for the review of the WBS-14. I posted that here:

The saw is great, i love it, but I couldn't bring myself to get a tattoo
