Taper

Hey guys, hope everyone is good today, can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong when I try to push a piece of stock thru on the table saw while using a taper jig the saw wants to bog down?? thanks

From my experience ... when the saw bogs down, it's one of three reasons.
Saw blade is dull.
Feed speed vs. wood hardness to fast for the wood.
Incorrectly aligned fence.

Hard to say without being there. Could be a dull blade or maybe the stock is being pushed forward in the jig, away from the stop pinching the blade.

I was thinking also of the number of teeth on the blade.

humm yeah could be the blade, I do push the stock at the angle of the jig, am I supose to push jig also?

Most definitely, the jig basically carries the stock through the saw.
