T&G Floor Untreated

Hi,

My new untreated 28mm t&g log cabin floor was under a tarpaulin for 2 months and water got in somewhere.

It was on pallets so there had been airflow but flor has stained and I can see black spots of mould. Not every piece just on a couple of lengths.

Fitted floor and it seems to have dried out now, will it be ok? Anything I can do to clean it up?

Depends. More than likely it's OK but find one of the worst boards and see if you can sand the black off of it before you install it. It sounds like red oak flooring and the black can run very deep. Also you will need to watch out for some of the boards having a cup warp. You will need to cull these boards when installing the flooring.
