Source for window springs

I've got a buddy looking to restore some windows in his 85 year old house. The wife won't go for new windows, so that's not an option.

They're looking for new springs for the windows, they look like this and are approx 29.5 inches long.

Any thoughts?? Source for window springs-imageuploadedbywood-working-talk1429980919.429576.jpg

The tools don't make the craftsman....

Depending on the length and diameter of the original window spring, consider contacting a spring manufacturer in your area or on line. It may be pricy depending on how many springs are needed, but if it makes the lady happy and fits the budget - then go for it! Be safe.
