I actually personally like smaller shops. Mine is a little too small with a stupid drop in the floor halfway through that I need to change but I like 200-300sqft

But if you had a boat load of equipment....200-300 sq feet wouldn't be enough to fit it all....that sander alone is 100 sq ft.

Running something through my jet 1632 makes me smile. Running something through that beast I would be rolling on the floor laughing.

I regularly take table tops to my hardwood supplier to run them through their 42 inch belt sander...

Having my own 64 inch seems ideal...

Some nice stuff for sure....but I'd just equip with state of the art new stuff. I'd have enough old stuff to work on with the cars...

It appears a lot of us here would be one of those people if they won the lottery the money would be gone within the first year.

Lol....maybe, but I'd like to think I'd spend a few hundred thousand getting my hobby shop up and running....and then be content to let my wife handle the remaining 200 million. Best way to ensure I didn't blow it all...

That depends on how much I won. If just a few thousand it would be gone, but if I won big I would wisely invest most of it. Since I don't buy lottery tickets I'm probably not going to win.

You forget one thing about winning the lottery, big brother is going to take a big chunk of the money.
