Do any of you know of someone that will do sketchup of a piece for you for a fee? I have a picture of what I want to build but want to put it in sketchup to make sure all dimensions look good, tweak to my size, etc.
Sketchup is fairly easy to learn and free. There are some great tutorials out there on YouTube - if you need any help with something you can't figure out, I'm decent at it.
There is also a sketchup section of the forum for questions. Its not the most active but there are some really knowledgeable people here. But like PMV said its really easy to learn. I spent about an hour or so watching training videos on their web site and was able to sketch my first workbench right away.
