Just a quick question. Can anyone suggest a good sign making kit for a router? I just tried the Rockler one but didn't care for it at all. I need something with some beef! Thanks, Mutt

I, too, have tried the rockler kit and it's the BIGGEST piece of garbage.

The only other option I know is to use those thin, crap templates to make your own out of a thin plywood

Personally I like freehand routed signs better.

Do you have access to a laser engraver or CNC router? Locally there is a place that for a small fee I can use both. I made these on the laser engraver. Signs-image-636265328.jpg

I cut my own templates out of 1/2 Baltic birch ply using a scroll saw. That gave me the option of using any font on the computer, and by using a copier enlarging them to any size I needed.
