Shiplapped cabinet back

Hello

I am having trouble deciding how to fix my shiplapped boards to the back of my cabinet.

The cabinet is made from solid rimu timber. The thickness of the shiplapped boards are 15mm at a width of 100mm. The height of the cabinet is 1000mm.

I did not want to glue the boards as I wanted to allow for expansion and shrinkage. As you could imagine there is flex in the middle of the shiplapped boards if I only screw the top and bottom of each board.

Any ideas would greatly help?

You are probably going to have to put a strip of wood or steel on the back side every 16" or so to tie them together.
