Question screw MDF boards on plasterboard profiles (metal)

I have made a plasterboard profiles (suspended ceiling for my workshop with F47 and 60 cm between two lines ), the question is: can I use MDF boards instead of plasterboard ?

And can I screw MDF on metal without any risk?

I think we need more of a explanation of what you are doing. You can't use MDF instead of plasterboard and tape and bed it. If you are going to just trim over the seams that should be alright maybe. MDF is awful heavy. What you attach it to would have to be strong enough to support it. Also if the roof ever leaked MDF would go bad very quickly. Drywall you could just let it dry and paint over it where MDF would need to be replaced. You can screw MDF to metal however I wouldn't try it on something like metal studs where the screws are just into sheetmetal. I'm afraid the weight would pull the screws out. If you are talking about putting screws into tubular steel or metal building Cee's that would work.
