Router Fence Question

I am going to be getting a new router table in the near future and have an opportunity to buy a new Bench Dog Profence 36" for about 1/2 price. The only issue I see is that it uses the cantilever locking system to secure it to the router table. This looks weird to me and I question its ease of use and strength. Have any of you guys used this or have any feedback on it?

Thanks!
Mike

Wow, 100 views and no replies. Is this thing so weird that no one has ever even heard of it? Perhaps that alone answers my question.

I have the Bench Dog fences..

But not that one. This link has 8 reviews you might check out.
I like my fences they are strong and easy to secure with just turn knobs. The camlever lock is probably not a bad idea, once it's set to lock at the right height WRT to table. Sorry that's all I can offer.. bill

The answer to your question will only be as detailed and specific as the question is detailed and specific. Good questions also include a sketch or a photo that illustrates your issue. (:< D)

Thanks Bill. I did see those reviews but I was hoping to get some specific answers from someone who has (or had) a fence with this cantilever locking system. Of well, I just bought it so I hope I can modify it if I need to.
