I have an old perfection heater. It has porcelain coating. I have searched the web, but found nothing about restoring it. Ifigured i would ask you guys. Since their is a tremendous gathering of talented people here. I plan to chrome the trim pieces. I believe thats how they were originally.

What sort of restoration does it need? I know there's a company in California that does restoration of chrome and porcelain on old cook stoves: you might want to call them (http://www.antiquegasstoves.com/) to see if they know anyone around here who does the work, or if they have any recommendations.

You might also get some information from this place: http://www.milesstair.com/by_make/PERFECTION_Kerosene_Heaters.html
I ran across them while I was trying to get some information on an old kerosene heater my uncle had.

Good luck, and let us know how it works out!
