I know these aren't for everyone, but they are exactly what I needed.
I just made these to push the pegboard out away from the wall so that I would not have to reach up leaned over the workbench I jsut built. I was just trying to get some usable space in my ever-messier shed. they are 2' x 4' at the face. Fairly easy to build and cheap. I think I spent about $75 combined to build both. The real trick to getting the heavy 4 foot doors to hang solid with all the weight was the bracing in the upper hinge corners. I just used a magnet clasp top and bottom to get them to stay shut. I also used nuts behind the screws to push the board out a quarter inch so I don't lose use of any peg holes. I really like them, and it added a bunch of space. Plus, it was built on the ground and hung up fast and easy. Anyway, maybe a good fit for someone else. I put some before and afters to give an example. Not done organizing yet, but getting there. I am attaching a few close pics in case someone else is interested in something similar.
