Planer cutter upgrade

It's time to replace my Grizzly G1033 cutter head with a helical. Should I get a Grizzly or are the better ones out there to get.

I have the Grizzly Jointer Planer. It was ordered with the Griz spherical cutter head and the carbide 4 sided knives. The cutter head is good but not great. There is one knife that is slightly off and it leaves a barely perceptible ridge in the piece being planed. A quick pass with some 120 grit sand paper removes it. It really doesn't matter because the piece needs to be sanded anyway.

I've used two different DeWalt lunch box planers, my Grizzly, a 20" Powermatic and another that I can't remember the brand. All produced nicely planed wood but all required sanding after planning.

I wish that I had gone with that upgrade on my Grizzly.
