A nice surprise!!!!

Well RogerinClorado stopped in and snagged his mesquite I cut for him, and to my surprise, he brought me a beautiful mallet that he turned. It's made from Alaskan Birch, and this thing is nice, I don't really want to bang it up on my chisels, but I'll have to give it a try. We had a very nice, although short, visit. I look forward to having a longer BS session with Roger, he's a heck of a nice guy. NOW, PLEASE, don't get any drool on my mallet, bibs or towels are permitted.....lol
Roger, Thank you very much.

Okay, now that's pretty nice. I have one in my shop that I made a while back, but nothing as nice as that. I'm sure that you will enjoy it. Thanks for sharing it with us.

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"

Vey nice. Has lots of figure to it. And a well turned mallet.

When it's rustic......it's rustic
