Newest addition to the TaylorMade Family

Whelp, the craiglist bug has bitten me again. Did I really neeeed another table saw? No. Did I have to have this one?? Absolutely I did!

I'm selling my Ryobi BT3000, which has been very good to me, in favor of my new Delta 10" contractor's saw. I took some time with it tonight and cleaned it up, slapped a new belt on and set it up a little bit, cut some 6/4 cherry with no issues at all. I'm very happy already. I need to align the pulleys a little bit better, the belt wobbles more than it should and was pretty warm to the touch, so it'll only be better.

I plan on building a mobile cabinet for this to sit in along with extra blades, etc.

Here's the old gal... sniff.

and here's the new girlfriend. It's been well taken care of.

Ha! I'll be firing up an Augusto Reyes here in a few minutes with a scotch and water for my victory celebration. Right after I finish my left over pulled pork sammich I smoked this weekend... guess I forgot about that hobby

That Delta model 10 is a great TS! I've had that exact saw for about 10 years and my grandfather had it for many years before passing it on to me. Good luck with it.

Thanks! I sold my old one this morning and I was a little sad to see it go but I suspect I'll get over that once I get this one set up nicely. Everything I've read about this saw has been good, so that gives me piece of mind.
