Finished my workbench today.
Went fairly well and I am happy with it.
It has a tool well and a tool holder on the rear of it. The lower shelf is just as it will be - power tools with cords loosely placed on the shelf. This avoids kinks in the cords. for some reason, I never put drawers in my workbench. I just like it open and can grab what I need. The tool well is shallow - 3/4". I use it mainly for pencils, drawing compasses, and other more or less flat stuff. It only get used when I need the whole top surface for a few quick tasks. It has retractable wheels and with the wheels up, it is that same height as my table saw. the open space between the workbench and the table saw is around 36". Thats enough space for me to work on the workbench and let my 30" wide rolling table/assembly table witjh retractable wheels.
Every thing in the shop will be the same exact height as my table saw.
The concrete floor is in terrible shape. Not cracked but incredibly uneven. This means everything needs adjustable feet.
