What server are you using? I stopped using Internet Explorer a long time ago because the ads were making the page freeze up. I now use Firefox which I use their free ad block app.

Not likely a forum issue, but related to the device you are using to access the forum.

What browser are you using? Are you using a mobile app? Provide details about your end of this, maybe we can help.

You're halfway there. Get their ad-blocker and it will remove all the ads. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir.../adblock-plus/

Already installed. The problem seems to have already gone away on its own.

I recently switched (I will not say upgraded) to Windows 10 on this machine and have had some issues. This may have been on of them.

Everything slowly getting back to normal.

I've heard so much negative feedback about Window 10 I don't want it. Even before they came up with it every time they re-invent Windows the new version seems to be worse than the one before it so I pretty much decided I would stop at 7.

I have a laptop with Windows 8. It seems pretty good to me.

A part of my Windows problems are display. I have a separate video card in the computer. Having trouble with the driver after the switch to Windows 10. When I get the correct Windows 10 driver that may solve many of my problems.

I have another laptop that I converted to Windows 10 several months ago. Have had no problems wih it.

From what I understand there is a great deal more spying into your computer from outside sources with 10 than the previous versions. I don't like the spying that is there now so I sure don't want it increased. Any time I google a product I'm getting pop up ads for that product for a couple weeks afterwards.

I changed to Windows 10 also, there was a notice that after July 29th a person wanting to get Windows 10 will have to pay $100 for home version and $200 for pro. I haven't had many problems at all since I changed, I am using Chrome instead of Firefox, it is just faster for me.

The biggest inconvenience for me is where to find the things I was use to finding on Windows 7. Adding pictures to albums is different and I still haven't figured that one out. I am just not one for change, unless it is really for the best, I don't see 10 is better than 7 by far...yet.

Mickeysoft isn't doing anymore "spying" than the king of data collection, Google. In fact Google has built a database as large or larger than the NSC. If you use any google products such as chrome or gmail you can bet Google knows more about your computer use than you do.

Perhaps in this electronic era the fourth amendment should apply to the private sector too.
