My first logs cut & Dried ever

Yes I am excited. Here are two samples of the maple I had cut then I dried. I will post pictures of the slabs once I start working on my U desk.


Looks like one of the trees was curly. I knew it was ambrosia. We shall see. The curl is in one of the limbs of the large ambrosia tree.

I included a couple pictures of two of the big slabs. I probably have about 30+ slabs.

Looks like some fun projects in your future. I feel my projects range in the semi-done procrastinating mode to really long term. I got a bit of wood waiting to get cut into slabs and dried at some point. there's not enough hours in a day.
