Hi everyone. Just moved to Fayetteville N.C. looking for a place that I can buy lumber. Looking for places that sell walnut, maple, etc. if anyone knows of a place in the area that would be great. Google maps pulls up home depo and Lowe’s and lumber yards that only supply mass amounts of lumber for construction companies.
I don't know that area like I use to when in the Marines. I can tell you that there are some great local Sawyer (Sawmills) in that area that can do custom milling and also sell rough stock as well.
Murdocks is a bit far but a good remote Sawyer. He will know who else is in your area...
Turn Bull is more high end and/or commercial but a good source as well...plus, they too have contacts in the area to offer if asked...
Good luck!
