Low profile bench vice to use with bench dogs

Looking for ideas on what to buy / how to make a simple low profile bench vice to use with bench dogs. I know about a standard woodworking vice. What I want is something like the "Wonder dog" or "Wonder pup" products. Thanks for any suggestions.

I've used this one for several years and I'm glad I bought it.

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my grandfather did in his
sleep. Not yelling and screaming like the passengers in his car.

also, some bench vises have a way to put a dog in the vise, so you can yave dogs on both ends, like this:

Veritas twin screw vise. The best for the money. Just read up on it, you can customize it up to 24" centers between handles. Its a sweet vise. Pricey but a great value. Lee vally tools.com
