Looking for source for suitcase type latches

I'm looking for for latches as shown below. Prefer brass. Around 2 inches high and with lock. Can't find them anywhere so far.

Have you checked with Lee Valley? If you haven't you can go to their website and request the hardware catalog (or all three of their catalogs). They have a lot of hardware in there. I am not at home so I can't check mine to see if they have those, so maybe someone can chime in. I will check later in the day when I get home.

~later~

I looked at the online catalog and pg156 has several catches that might be similar to what you are looking for. Just go to Leevalley.com and under online catalog click on their Sept '09 catalog and peruse it at your leisure.

Look on the left side of the page (Lee Valley link). There you'll see the lockable suitcase latch like in your pic.

Daryl, if you don't want to pay for or wait for shipping, any of your local musical instrument repair men will have latches you can choose from. Most music instrument dealers have an in-store repair department and they are very friendly and helpful.
