Looking for a 1-week course

Hi All

I'm based in Chicago, but willing to travel. I have basic router and table-saw skills and looking for a good class focused on preparation of rough lumber, impriving my skills on table saw and router and (if possible), cabinet/furniture making basics. Ideally, it will be a week-long course and within a day's drive of Chicago. I'm considering JDLohr in PA, but before I book, I thought I'd ask if anyone else has recommendations.

Regards

Mark

Woodcraft stores offer courses. There is one in Woodridge. Do not know how close that is to you.

Thanks George. I've done a few one day classes at my local store, but they're pretty basic and little hands on. Looking for way more depth and hands on and really want a multi-day, project based (ideally) class

Festool offers classes at their training center in Indianapolis, I've read it's very hands on but you'll be working with Festools.

Their website festoolusa has the details

That should be about a three hour drive from Chicago of the most boring scenery around.

Cut it twice, measure once and it's still too short.

There are a couple schools in ky. I will have to look up the bookmarks when I get back to my computer.
