Liberon Hide Glue Instructions not making sense to me

Does anyone know about mixing hide glue pearl form. The instructions say leave overnight in water 3-4 times volume of pearls, the next part I don't get. It says replace dirty water with fresh water, but whenever I leave overnight there is no dirty water to replace as its all been absorbed into the pearls. So I'm unsure if I need to add more water or not =s.

Anyone know what's right?

After soaking overnight in 3-4 times it's volume in water, you are supposed to heat it in a double boiler until all the glue has melted. Here's some info that may help.

Thanks. I'm using an electric heater to melt it.

I just found it odd though that it says to remove dirty water. How do you do that if theres no water because its all been absorbed?

I suppose it doesnt really matter if it works fine without adding additional water after leaving it overnight.
