Long story but I finally settled for the Laguna Fusion 2 with the 36" fence. I bought it along with the Laguna 1412 band saw. They are both back ordered and hopefully I will have them by Mid-August.

Not to hijack a thread BUT I'm looking at exactly the choice listed above. The Grizzly 1023RL (don't need the extra length or router table) or the Fusion F2. Any firsthand thoughts would be great.

The only reason I wanted the Grizzly 1023 was for the 52" fence. I personaly think the Fusion is a much better saw. I dont have any experience with the Fusion 2, but just my instincts took me that way. My instincts are usually right. The 1023 was around $500 more because the Fusion was on sale at the time. The Fusion 2 was purchased through Woodcraft along with a Laguna band saw.
Anyway, the Laguna Fusion 2 and band saw was almost a thousand less expensive when shipping fees and all are added in. The Shipping from Grizz was over $300. Woodcraft is charging $75 to deliver the 2 Lagunas.

I wasn't money motivated at the time. It turned out to be a delivery problem with the Grizz.
