JET Proshop dust port not 4 inchOD

I'm setting this new saw up and the dust collector port outside diameter is only 3.75inch when the manual states 4inch. My connector is 4inch ID and fits very loose. What’s the solution? BTW I consider myself a rookie when doing wood. I'm using 4inch hose which connects to a plastic adapter(4inch ID female) from the hose to the saw to make connecting easier.

I used a Rockler Dust Right connection and handle to connect my dust collection. My saw is pre-riving knife and I don’t know if the changed the size of the dust port, but it works for me.

In woodworking there is always more then one way to accomplish something.
