Introduction

Hey everybody. Been lurking here for awhile, I joined a few months ago but this is my first post. Don't have a computer so I'm always on my I phone. I grew up in the building trades and have always enjoyed working in wood. Dad and grand dad had basement wood shops. I'm just finally in a position to set up shop for myself. So I'm not quite a "newbie" but I would say I still have a bit to learn about the finer points of ww. I have already learned a ton just by lurking here. So I just wanted to take a minute and say hey to all.

Whadup Dude!?

Welcome to the family.

Your background will serve you well.

I look forward to hearing more from you.

Jeff

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my grandfather did ó in his
sleep. Not yelling and screaming like the passengers in his car.

I changed the bearings in my older griz 6 inch jointer last night and my new set of knives and jointer pal came today so I've been in the shop the past few hours trying to set my knives and I'm alittle frustrated cause I've done it three times now and just can't get them right on. Last attempt got me close, two are right on but one is low. First time changing knives and have heard it can be a little tedious. I'll try again later.
